From Silk to Lens: A Colourful Evolution

Most people who know me today don’t know what I used to do.

For years, I painted bright, colourful silk scarves and created jewellery from hand-painted glass and resin. I’ve always been drawn to rich colour, translucency, and layering—materials that catch the light and change depending on how you look at them.

That passion has never left me. But now, I create in a new way.

These days, I use my camera as my paintbrush—creating abstract original photographs that echo the vibrancy of silk dyes and the depth of layered glass. Each image is a moment of colour, reflection, and transformation—often from things most people walk past without noticing.

It’s a new chapter, but very much a continuation of what came before.

I’m excited to be launching this new body of work—art that reimagines reality and invites you to see differently.
